On March 30, 2017, Dawn Jones traveled to meet with attorneys and judges in Augusta at a lunch meet-and-greet campaign event held at Honey From the Rock Café.  Attendees’ years of practice ranged from recently admitted to 25+ years, and included a wide range of practice areas. They were receptive to the information and experiences Dawn shared.  And, most importantly, Dawn listened carefully to their concerns, comments and questions about how the State Bar can and should assist them.

As she has at every other event attended on the campaign trail, Dawn will follow up individually with attendees about their questions that require follow up, as she should as a member of the Executive Committee. Special thanks to fellow Board of Governors member Laverne Gaskins for coordinating the event. Thanks to campaign contributors, Dawn was able to host this meet-and-greet.  She enjoyed getting to know everyone in attendance while sharing a meal, and looks forward to working with them in the future.
