Grateful for the invite extended by Susan Cox and Paige Boykin to speak to Bar members, Dawn Jones attended a lunch meeting of the Statesboro Bar Association at noon on March 24, 2017 at RJ’s Grill. The group included Bar members who served with Dawn on various State Bar committees, like YLD President Jennifer Mock and Advisory Committee on Legislation past Chair Dan Snipes. State Bar of Georgia Past President Gerald Edenfield introduced Dawn before she shared remarks with the group and encouraged questions. Dawn’s visit with the Statesboro Bar Association concluded with her receipt of a beautiful gift basket full of coffee and cupcakes–which happened to be two of Dawn’s favorite things! As usual, Dawn was immensely grateful for the opportunity to meet and talk with Bar members, to update them on State Bar business, and to address their concerns and questions. Dawn was equally grateful for the chance to visit with Mr. Edenfield at his office, to tour the lovely building that houses Edenfield, Cox, Bruce & Classens, and to meet the friendly attorneys and staff who work there. Hospitality abounds in Statesboro–Dawn can attest to that! And the food at RJ’s Grill was AMAZING!!
